RADOSLAV MALENOVSKÝ Slovak Professional Paralympic athlete. Shooter. Participated in 3 Paralympic Games. He finished 4th in Rio de Janeiro 2016. He is World Champion from CheongJu 2018, World Record holder and 1st in World Ranking. B.1986 Skalica, SVK EMPLOYER Police Sports Center CLUB ALTIUS sports club Radoslav Malenovský was born on November 15, 1986 in Skalica, Slovakia. He grew up in the small town of Šaštín - Stráže in the west of Slovakia. He lived a normal life until his 16, when, after an unfortunate jump into the water on 4 July 2003, he suffered a serious injury - fractures of the cervical vertebrae with spinal cord injury. Despite of months of rehabilitation, he need a wheelchair for everyday movement. In 2004 he started the business academy in Bratislava on Mokrohájska Street, where he met sport shooting for the first time through Veronika Vadovičová and Martin Gabko, chairman of the Altius sports club. Initially, extracurricular activity has taken turns and leisure-time activity has developed a professional sport. Radoslav is now the representative of the Slovak Republic. He participated in three Paralympic games. In Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016. In Rio he finished fourth. After arrival to Slovakia, he was awarded with the commemorative medal of the Minister of the Interior of the Slovak Republic. Today he is a professional athlete at the Police Sport Center. He is the multiple champion of the world cups, the champion of Slovakia, the champion of Europe from 2007 and in 2018 he won the world championship in the Korean CheongJu. He is the holder of the final world record and in 2018 he led the world ranking in the discipline R1 Air Rifle 60 Standing Men.
